Her mission as creative director is to guide the J.A.S. Her collaborative leadership and support throughout the design-build process ensures the forward momentum of the team & their project. This intuitive ability is visible in her balanced and innovative design approach & completed projects. Kim brings a unique blend of style and livability to the spaces she creates, looking for patterns that reflect the essence of a client’s life & interests. In her role at J.A.S., Kim is able to continue developing a passion for homes and how we live in them while exploring just how beauty and creativity can live alongside reality and functionality. Kim’s connection to the design-build world started in architecture and design school. Design-Build in September of 1992 with her husband Joseph Schneider.

Integrity of the design & the design build process are of the utmost importance to Joe and his colleagues at J.A.S. This means honest presentation of budget and schedule while creating projects which are both functional & beautiful. Achieving a quality design-build process while maintaining constant consideration of client needs is Joe’s primary focus. That experience on the crew instilled in him a life-long love of building and those early lessons in framing, construction & craftsmanship have informed his studies in architecture and design. Joe’s connection to the design-build world began as a teenager cleaning jobsites in New Jersey.
